Walking slowly down the hall, the white rabbit sighed; the sun would be going down soon and everyone would be arriving for what would surely be an eventful night. He hadn’t seen Alice in awhile because of his duties, he was in a considerably bad mood; cutting the card soldiers’ number down by almost half, Vivaldi had put in him charge of the Masquerade as punishment. This did not help his mood any farther and the castle had to go through several different design planners before people were scared to enter Heart Castle if they wanted to live. He shook his head and smiled. Tonight was a night of peace, dancing, carrots, and most importantly Alice.
Yes! Alice shall be coming tonight.
With a little hop, he entered the main ballroom or rather what was the main ballroom. The walls were covered with orange and black tapestries; the room itself had pumpkins and other odds and ends of the Halloween spirit. Skeletons and hanging from the ceiling, the tiles on the floor had been replaced from the rough stones to smooth tiles arranged in a red, orange, black, and green pattern. It almost amazed him at the speed which the decorations were put up and how quickly the castle was ready for the masquerade. He sure everyone was bound to like.
He waved at the musicians to start playing, which to his amusement they started rather hastily, and opened the doors. With a fake smile he started his duties as ambassador and greeted each and every guest as they came in. “Hello and welcome the Heart Castle Masquerade.”
